CompleteCase.com™ cannot resolve contested cases.
If you cannot come to an agreement and need to have a court
hearing, you should contact an attorney.
What if I want information, but am not sure about
getting a divorce at this time?
The information and law provided with each question,
as well as the forms provided at the end of the process
will provide a great deal of information about the law and
process relating to getting a divorce.
If you choose not to file the documents, you will
not get a divorce. You can use the information and the forms
for informational purposes if you wish.
What software programs will I need?
In order to view and print the forms, you will need
Adobe Acrobat software which creates PDF files.
Your computer probably has this software, but if
not, CompleteCase.com™ provides a link to download the software.
The software is free and the download is quick.
Can I change my answers later?
Yes. If you change your mind, make a mistake or if
your spouse has changes to make, you can return to your
account at any time to make changes.
Once you finish the last question and confirm that
you are ready to have your documents created, changes to
the completed documents may cause an additional fee to be
incurred.
How do I change my answers?
You can use the back button on your browser to return
to questions you just answered; or
You can click on the status bar to view all of the
questions you have answered, then click on the question
and provide a different answer.
Will my documents be reviewed by a lawyer?
No. CompleteCase.com™ operates without attorneys.
No lawyer will review the documents.
CompleteCase.com™ employees cannot offer legal advice.
However, the explanations provided with each question are
simple and clear and the law is provided for some questions
if you wish to review it.
Is technical support available?
Yes. If you have any difficulty with the use of the
site, other than legal questions, support is available quickly
via email or telephone
at no additional charge.
What if my computer crashes or I have to leave in
the middle of the process?
You may return to your account using your email address
and password at any time. You will be returned to the point
where you left off, at any time, even weeks later.
Does my spouse need to sign the documents?
Yes. CompleteCase.com™ is for uncontested divorces.
This means that you will need to have an agreement.
You do not need to have an agreement immediately,
but you will need to agree before submitting your completed
answers after answering the last question online.
At some point, when you reach an agreement, your
spouse will need to sign the documents.
Does my spouse have to use the site with me?
No. CompleteCase.com™ is designed to be used by one
spouse, who will then give the documents to the other spouse
for their review.
You can return to CompleteCase.com™ to make changes
as necessary, after discussing it with your spouse. You
will need to come to an agreement before confirming completion
at the end of the question process.
Of course, there is nothing restricting both spouses
from sitting at the computer together and answering the
questions.
What if I have legal questions before I start using
CompleteCase.com™?
CompleteCase.com™ employees cannot answer legal questions.
However, each of the questions asked during the process
has a simple explanation and some have laws to review.
Most legal questions are addressed through the process
of answering the questions and reading explanations and
law as necessary.
Can I use CompleteCase.com™ in my state?
Generally, you can use CompleteCase.com™ if either
spouse lives in the state in which you intend to file. Review

What if I cannot locate my spouse?
Generally, if you cannot locate your spouse you will
need to file the documents provided by CompleteCase.com™
and then file for default.
CompleteCase.com™ does not provide service by publication
forms or default forms.
These are fairly simple forms which are available
at most courthouses and legal supply stores. The difficult
documents, those that actually create the divorce, are provided
by CompleteCase.com™
Can I use the site if I have children?
Yes. CompleteCase.com™ provides the documents necessary
to address all child related issues.
Does the cost of using CompleteCase.com™ cover court
filing fees?
No. Court filing fees, which often vary by county,
are in addition to the cost of using CompleteCase.com™. To
determine the cost of filing fees, please contact your local
courthouse.
