We believe that every person that is going through a difficult time deserves affordable help and support. We do this by helping families navigate the legal system during a divorce so that they can avoid unnecessary legal costs and stress. We are improving the experience of divorcing couples and their loved ones by driving complexity, expense and time out of the legal process.

Management Team

Bob Butterworth, Chief Executive Officer

Bob co-founded in 2000 and became CEO in February of 2014. As CEO, Bob’s responsibilities range from outside communication and business development to internal policy, strategy, management and user experience.

Bob is also the founder and CEO of Zenwerks, a Seattle and New York based web development agency and is a Partner in Butterworth Sullivan, a New York and Edinburgh based UX design agency. Bob’s past campaign work includes direct management for Nike, Toyota, AT&T, Microsoft, BBC, Chanel, Adobe, Le Coq Sportif, Toshiba and Comcast/NBC Universal.

As a high tech pioneer and serial entrepreneur since his early 20s, Bob has been a key founder in three successful technology and/or service-based businesses – as well as dozens of other successful websites and businesses as a consultant/advisor. He has the unique ability to quickly understand key business challenges and develop practical technology-driven solutions.

Bob lives in Seattle, WA and his married with two children. He’s a huge Seattle Sounders (MLS) and Manchester City (BPL) fan. He’s an avid street photographer. He’s a serious sushi snob. He wants to be in Maui right now. Bob’s obsession with fly fishing is viewed with concern by all who know him.

Greg Rublev, Chief Operating Officer

Greg is a seasoned entrepreneur known for his innovative work with web-based products and SEO. During his early days in software consulting, Greg had developed the patent-pending technology platform that runs on. Over the next 14 years he launched web based products and online marketing campaigns at 6 venture-backed companies, and started two companies of his own. He joined again in 2014 to oversee technology, product management, marketing and operations of the company. Greg is an avid crossfitter and a runner. He is also a 3-time high school foosball champion, amateur salsa dancer and pretty good snowboarder.

Jim Elgart CPA, Chief Financial Officer

Jim is a financial professional and entrepreneur with two decades of experience in building businesses and the necessary infrastructure for those businesses to succeed. Jim has developed companies from the ground up in a variety of industries and locations. His assignments have taken him everywhere, from CPA firms to healthcare advertising agencies to his current position at CompleteCase.

Melissa Tenny, Director, Legal Document Compliance

Melissa Tenny has worked in family law for more than twenty two years. During this time, she helped build one of the top family law practices in Seattle, Washington, and was part of the pioneer team that created and made the success that it is today. Being a senior paralegal, she worked for years on high end contested divorce cases and then switched gears to the uncontested online divorce process. Melissa is responsible for monitoring and updating the state services as laws and procedures change throughout the country along with ensuring the customer experience is as amazing as we promise. Melissa lives on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State with her two children, if you count her husband.

Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing / PPC

We're seeking an exceptional digital marketing professional as a key addition to our fast-growing team. This person will use his/her quantitative skills to analyze and manage traffic acquisition activities, with a primary focus on paid search marketing, and work closely with our engineering team to help drive strategic digital marketing projects.

In this role you will:

  • Manage and expand existing paid search campaigns across multiple web properties
  • Champion new campaigns in adjacent channels, such as display and remarketing
  • Help build a new line of business, focusing on aggressive customer acquisition and cross sell opportunities

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage Google AdWords and Bing Ads search PPC campaigns
  • Grow PPC campaigns through keyword expansion, match type testing, and other strategies
  • Actualize different strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search
  • Write, review and edit PPC ad copy and landing page content to support all PPC campaigns
  • Analyze and report on all data metrics in relation to PPC
  • Optimize non-search PPC campaigns, including site targeted campaigns, remarketing campaigns, display network ads
  • Monitor trends and best practices in PPC and digital marketing

You will be an integral part of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company, and you'll have the influence and tools available to rapidly grow our business. We are looking for someone with analytical ability, an interest in growing a business, and the enthusiasm to push us forward. We need change agents - smart, analytical people who can rip through data to find trends and nuggets of insight, and who have the experience and drive to get results from their findings.


  • 3-5+ years in digital marketing, with demonstrated increases in responsibility
  • BS/BA, preferably in a technical or quantitative major, or demonstrated analytical and technical ability
  • Extensive prior experience managing complex PPC campaigns
  • Expert understanding of Google Analytics or another analytics software
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills required. Understanding of statistics and experience with SQL preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, sense of urgency and accountability
  • Great teamwork skills essential

Case Specialist

Department: Customer Care

Location: Waltham, MA

We are looking for confident, outgoing, empathetic and coachable people who don't settle for average salaries to join our customer care team. The customer care team handles incoming calls from potential customers and follows up on online appointment requests. Case Specialist’s role is to help potential customers become comfortable with and confident about using our products and services. The focus is on being a trusted, comforting, problem-solver for people going through a tough time. A Case Specialist tackles product questions in a timely manner by being attentive while verifying the customer's situation, needs and wishes; determines the root causes of the customer’s problem; selects and suggests the best solution to solve the problem; follows up reliably and punctually when necessary. Case Specialist also facilitates purchase transactions with potential customers.


  • Communicating via phone and email with potential customers in response to product and service inquiries. Customer satisfaction is a key company metric.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding performance metrics as defined by the company while contributing to overall team goals. We are growing quickly and you will be an important contributor to that growth.
  • Responding to customer expectations of quality by answering customer phone calls in a timely manner and by meeting your commitments for follow up when promised. Our brand is the most trusted in the business and Case Specialists are our brand ambassadors.
  • Contributing to team projects to improve our processes and results as a group. We are all about getting better and Case Specialists can contribute new ideas and energy to that process.

Working Hours:

Pick from two available shifts: Weekdays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Weekend shifts are also available.

Marketing and Social Media Intern

Department: Marketing

Location: Waltham, MA

We are seeking energetic, creative people to help shape our marketing and outreach. This is a wonderful opportunity for any aspiring marketer with strong skills in content writing and social media. Through this position, interns will gain experience in a variety of areas, including blog marketing, social media, copywriting, and competitive market research. Our ideal candidate has excellent written communication skills as well as an ability to think outside the box and find creative new solutions to old problems. Hours are flexible, although full-time is preferred.
